Established in 1992 and considered one of the UK’s leading watch repair specialists, we offer to you an unparalleled level of service and expertise. Located in central Newcastle upon Tyne and open six days a week we allow you direct access to the areas leading watch repair specialists. As part of our team we do employ a watchmaker formally trained by Rolex and who was previously Rolex accredited for inexcess of 20 years. Independence allows freedom to tailor make the repair to suit your needs bringing you greater choice which we believe to be important. When servicing a watch we disassemble the timepiece completely. Every component is inspected and cleaned to remove all trace of dry oil and other deposits. After cleaning and drying, your watch is reassembled and lubricated with the correct grade oil before testing and regulation. Founded in 1992 by Newcastle born Rolex specialist Watchmaker Chris Rowell. The Watch Repair Centres first branch was within the prestigious Metro Centre Development (Gateshead), three miles from Newcastle. Dedicated to providing direct access to expert technicians, without dealing with untrained sales persons in high street jewellers, the Watch Repair Centre soon opened branches within Eldon Square shopping centre Newcastle and in Middlesbrough, Hartlepool,  Glenrothes and Fife (north of Edinburgh).

Took my Cartier watch for a new battery while dealing with Mathew rudely interrupted by ‘Jacob’ not a particularly pleasant person, he interjected himself into a conversation. He went on to tell me the company are NOT ACCREDITED TO SERVICE CARTIER WATCHES and indeed I should probably take my watch to Cartier!!. A fine example of a half arsed nobody trying to look more important than he could ever possibly be.

I called in today and Chris and Jacob could not have been more helpful . The service was fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. I have used The Watch Repair Centre 2 or 3 times now and every time the service is brilliant. I would recommend these guys to anybody with a watch problem. Gave advice, then replaced the battery as I waited. The gasket was also replaced free of charge and the watch polished. One customer at a time in the room, so felt safe. Highly recommended.
