First off, The positive- Great customer service from the guy behind the desk. He took the time to answer my questions and recommend services and was transparent about the price and time-frame of the resoling. Now, The negative- poor stitching job done, several loose threads and lack of uniformity, especially on the left boot (please see pictures) The stitching really affects the aesthetics on such a pricey pair of boots. Second, there are damage/creasage to the leather in the instep of the boots. I reckon the cobbler was rough with them on the Last during the repair. Finally, they didn't bother to phone me to say when they were ready. The clerk claimed the number was copied down wrong but can't confirm. I'd usually let that slide if the other problems weren't present. Overall, I suppose I got what I wanted, (hence the two stars instead of a one star) The boots have rubber soles and can be used in winter now. But I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone else for their cobbling needs. Edit- Since this review, my boots have deteriorated further. The sole on the right boot has come loose (please see pictures) this is a catastrophic failure and the boots are now unusable. I have emailed Timpson customer services, as per their request on this review, yet after four days (two working days) I have heard nothing back. Not so much as a confirmation to my email. Due to this poor customer service, I have reduced the review to one star. Very poor service all round.

Quick and great service. Took a key in to get 2 spares made up, just waited and got them done there and then, less than 5 minutes in the shop in total so was quite pleased.
