Timpson is a great place to go for minor shoe repairs, key copies, and pet tags. The service is always excellent and cheerful, highly recommend.

Re-soled pair leather shoes, excellent service 👌 Needed a new pair laces, and the chap serving took the time to pop round to the stock, without me asking, and found me the correct pack. 😀

Completely ignored by the grey-haired, bearded man 'serving' behind the counter! I visited this shop in Butcher Row around 5pm, this salesman was standing behind the counter but busy sorting out the till roll so I waited patiently for him to serve me. A female customer was already in the shop but crouched down on the floor, looking at goods displayed on the front of the reception desk, so I gave her space and stood a bit further back but still directly in front of the salesman, waiting to be served. After several minutes, with no acknowledgement, apology or eye contact from the salesman whatsoever, who was still engrossed with his till roll, the customer stood upright, having decided what she wanted to buy, looked back at me, having realised I was there and bizarrely asked if I was waiting. I nodded but she put her items on the counter anyway and the salesman immediately served her, which she allowed by not informing him I was before her! Even in the unlikely event he hadn't seen me (it's a very small shop) he would have heard her talking to me to know I was there but served her anyway, when I had been waiting all that time and was first in the queue. I only wanted to ask him a question which could have led to a sale but he completely ignored me, the customer had pushed in, despite knowing I was there first, so I walked out and went to another shop that doesn't encourage this and actually serves its customers!

Fantastic staff and Manager. Helped us with 4 trophies in a timescale no one else could and at a price that was unbeatable. Thank you from the Mazda RX-8 UK owners club. The ladies and gentleman received their awards and the smiles on their face was down to you guys
