Took my watch there, as I thought it needed a new battery. the lady took the back off, and the watch started again. There was no charge. I was pleased as they could have said I needed a new battery. Very honest.

Do not use these cowboys ever!! I took in a watch to have seals replaced and pressure testing for waterproofing afterwards. Went back a week later and they said they couldn’t do either. So I had a specialist in the make of my watch, who tell me that not only did The Watch Hospital crack my watch face but two internal securing screws which held in the mechanism ring were missing too. If you value your watch, even if it is for basic apprentice level maintenance, then don’t bother with these clowns. Disgusted!

Had a new battery fitted to a Skagen watch on Saturday 23rd July. Excellent service (via a gentleman) at good price. Went back today (27th July - 4 days after first) with identical watch for same service and was advised it would cost 40% more. The lady (middle aged blonde) was adamant about the cost and not jnterested in what I was saying. Won't be using them again.

Unbelievably poor service. They've had my watch since August 2021, it is now March 2022 and my watch is still in pieces. When they did tell me it had been repaired it was worse than when I took it to them. Since then I've only asked for my original movement refitted and to date they have dismantled my watch and done nothing else. Be warned if you are reading this, do not take your watch to this joke of a watch repair shop, I wouldn't trust the manager of the Grimsby branch to cut my grass let alone get his hands on something that may have sentimental value to you.

Visited here with a watch another establishment had told us required repairs as new battery would not resolve problem. Helpful gentlemen who served us here checked watch & advised it simply required a new battery! Excellent service. Watch has been absolutely fine since :)
