All vehicles made since 1993 come with a microchip inside the car key (transponder), the transponder talks to your vehicle to ensure the car key is the correct key for your car. Came out within a few hours as wasn’t urgent. My son locked my only key in my boot and was back in my car within 10 minutes. Fully recommend:-) And way cheaper than I was expecting. Great all round service, came out very late on a Saturday from Portsmouth (to worthing.) after we had no luck with local locksmiths. Friendly, fast and also jump started my car for me as the battery had died. Would highly recommend. - Aaron Green. Had an issue with the immobiliser chip inside my key fob. Called Darren, who was more than happy to come out the same day, even on a Sunday! He had the job done in about 15 minutes, and was extremely reasonable in price compared to the local VW dealership. All in all, quick, efficient, polite and definitely delivered a 5 star service. Would recommend!

Called Southern auto locks at 5 today with an sos of locking myself out of my car at a clients house! He arrived in less then an hour and sorted it out straight away.. Couldn't ask for better especially with it being the Thursday before good Friday.. amazing service and good price cannot thank them or recommend them enough!
