I took my multi diamond ring in to have a diamond replaced. After having the ring back for roughly 2/3 days the stone fell out again. I took the ring back to the shop and after a discussion as to if it was the same stone or not the ring was left for repair again. Again, I collected the ring (at no charge) and again within 2/3 weeks the same stone had fell out again. I have since taken the ring to a jewellers in Birmingham for the repair as whom ever it is who works on their jewellery does not have the relevant tools or expertise to repair the ring properly. The metal under the stone had actually broken and no matter how many times they would of replaced the stone it would never of remained in position.

This place was recommended to me . Spoke to the two men in there at different times. They both said yes we could service our watches and a clock . £290 later . 5 visits later. My Rolex doesn’t work and can’t keep the time, Hubbies Panerai is damaged and my mothers clock doesn’t work properly and the dings don’t sound right. So I’m upset, angry . If someone says they can do a job then I expect the job done but now it’s costing a lot of money to put things right . I give up and want my money back. They only need to say no we can’t do the job. I want my money back and taking things further. Watch!!!! This space. The clock they serviced now doesn’t work at all. That’s 10 weeks later . £150 out of pocket. They shouldn’t be trading !!!!

Updated January 2022. This shop caused a £450 repair bill for the rolex and £565 repair bill for the Panerai. Ive just paid £1015 for damages to 2 watches because these watchmakers have no idea what they are doing. Also I tried to report this to the British Watch and Clock Makers Guild and they have never heard of Rileys Watchmakers and they certainly aren't registered as watchmakers ....AVOID THIS SHOP IF YOU VALUE YOUR WATCH.....original review...September 2021. WARNING. THIS SHOP WILL SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR WATCH. 1 Took a rolex for service which they said they could do. First service and watch stopped and didn't work. Also date wouldn't change. 2nd service watch ran 5 mins aday fast and the crown fell out when I unscrewed it. Its now with rolex. These 2 blokes have no idea what they are doing and have bent the mainspring and filled it with cheap oil. 2 They said they could regulate a Panerai. They couldn't. After 3 attempts what they actually did was scratch the back plate because they didn't have the right tools and used some sort of pliers. It's now with Panerai and I'll have the bill. PLEASE SEE PICTURES. Took a wall clock. Was told it needed a service. £150 cash no receipt. Its an 8 day clock that now needs winding every day. And the chime - ding/dong now sounds ding/clunck. After 5 visits its cost me £150 clock service £115 rolex service £25 panerai regulated. All 3 items are ruined. Thanks alot. I'm sure Riley's know who I am. If you can't do a job properly just say so. I've given the shop £290 with no receipts. Now I'm going to get 2 repair bills from rolex and panerai. Thanks a lot.
