R A James is a High Street Shop based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. I am a third generation clock and watchmaker, a fully qualified member of the British Horological Institute and I have over 30 years practical clock and watch repairing experience.

I specialise in the sale and repair of clocks, watches and barometers. I head a small team of craftsmen: All disciplines are executed by highly trained specialists in their field. These include clockmaking, watchmaking, cabinet making, French polishing, dial painting, silvering and enamelling.
