Paul Hart1 StarCame back from holiday to find my key spinning in the lock. Called Lock Stock. He arrived quickly and proceeded to drill the lock. When that failed he used paddles to break the door open. At no point had the guy asked for proof this was even my house!
He'd caused so much damage to the mechanism it needed total replacement. He proceeded to do this but the new mechanism was a different size to the original. This meant it didn't fit any of the frame mechanism. Rather than adjust or replace the mechanism he proceeded to move each out of the way of the locking pins. He turned a 5 point lock into a 1 point lock. He proudly showed off how smooth the new lock was. Yes that's because it wasn't doing most of what a lock is meant to do!
His work made the door much less secure, noisy and drafty. I have chased Lock Stock several times to get the issue resolved but each time just get laughed at.
Do not use. Have reported to Master Locksmiths as Lock Stock did not comply with their terms on multiple occasions when dealing with my lockThursday 9th December 2021

T Tamali5 StarI locked myself out and the locksmith came over within 20 minutes and opened my lock using a tool put through the letterbox. Grateful for a service that didn't use drills or break anything like most untrained locksmiths do. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. I couldn't recommend them more highly!Monday 27th December 2021
