When I bought this vintage Seiko watch off eBay, the face was quite scratched and the inner ring had quite a lot of blue build-up on it, similar to what you'd get when bread has gone mouldy. I had looked at a few jewellers, but very few actually got back in-touch with me (one didn't even reply at all to an email I had sent!) I came across In-Time and had a look at their reviews online and they sounded pretty reasonable, especially seeing as they had a branch in Derby not too far away. So I took the watch in, to get a quote of how much it would be to have the acrylic replaced. Kevin the manager was very professional and quoted me £65 for the replacement (as it's a 1985 model). He gave me the option to pay the total upfront or to pay half that day and the other half upon collection of the watch, which I thought was pretty good! I had also purchased a new watch strap for another watch that same day, which was very reasonable. Not only that, but they had quite a wide selection of different watch straps t choose from. Kevin fitted it for me in no time. I was given a guarantee for the strap for 12 months, which was great. As I was walking home, I noticed that one of the spring bars had come out (bit of a fiddly watch to put straps on). So I took it back to In-Time where Steven quickly sorted this out for me in a very friendly and professional manner. The watch was done in a little over three weeks. I was greeted by Steven who was really cheerful and helpful, finalising the other part of the payment for the acrylic replacement. The watch had a protective film over the front and back, which I thought was fab and all the paperwork was together in a zip-lock plastic pouch (including a guarantee for 12 months). What a transformation from how it looked to how it looks now... Fab! I'm really impressed with the level of service and professionalism shown by both Kevin and Steven. They seem to really know what they're doing and do it well! I know where I'll be taking watches in the future. Many thanks to you Kevin and Steven!

I took my watch in for a straight forward battery change. I was asked if I wanted my watch sealing, as said yes as I sometimes go swimming with my watch on as it water resistant to a depth of 100 metres. The slung took the price from £9,99 to £1899. The following day I noticed that my watch had steamed up inside the glass and then a week later my watch stopped working altogether. I hadn't even been swimming but had left my watch on the shower... It's clear to me that the watch was not sealed properly and I fear the watch maybe ruined. On top of the £18.99 I have already paid, I had to go into town that cost me more time, petrol and car parking fees. I will wait to see what the repairer says and update my review accordingly.
