Had some antique pearls restrung and they went over and above by taking the stones out of the clasp, cleaning and replacing. Delighted with results and will get another set restrung. Service was quick, friendly and good value

Couldn't fault the service we have had from Hardwicks, we were looking for a gift for our son's 21st birthday and wanted a pocket watch. The staff helpfully sourced and ordered one for us. When we picked it up today we were very happy and pleased with our purchase. Thank you for taking the extra time to find us what we wanted it is very much appreciated.

Poor customer service. Lost my engagement and wedding ring, no apologies. The next day they were found but there no acknowledgement of the worry and stress they had caused, not to mention the wasted trip into town. The rings were designed by my husband and hand-made so are irreplaceable. The place they use in Birmingham has done a lovely job but I certainly wouldn’t recommend Hardwicks jewellery shop or use them again. Edit: I fully appreciate it was an easy mistake but the follow up phone call was rude and aggressive. When I left their shop on the Friday, they didn't know where my rings were. I received a phone call saying they were back on the Monday, so it wasn't just a day early. I stand by my review of very poor customer service, made worse by the manager/owner. I see from an earlier review somebody else has noted the attitude of the manager - I would suggest anyone thinks twice before giving this place your business. The owner deletes any negative reviews on yell - so beware.
