Good prices but terrible after service. I bought a wedding ring from goldsmiths online, it was too small so went into store to arrange a replacement. Delivery time online was 10 days, it took 6 weeks for this store to arrange the exchange (during this time I had a bespoke ring made by Fraser Hart for my partner). Whenever I phoned they kept assuring me it would be on the next delivery. I kept having to phone them, they would never pick up the phone to update me. Finally the replacement ring arrived, I went into store with the ring, all of the packaging it came, all the paperwork I had, only to be treated like a criminal. They inspected the ring and questioned me over a scratch which was on it when it arrived asking if I had been wearing it, I told them it was too small and I wasn't married yet so hadn't been wearing it. Then they told me it couldn't be simply exchanged, I would need to pay for the new ring and they would refund me for the old one. I said that wasn't acceptable as refunds take several days. They phoned their support team and eventually resolved the issue, but only after making me regret I had ever purchased from goldsmiths. They might be slightly cheaper than competitors but in future i'll be paying slightly more for a better service elsewhere

I have visited Glasgow Buchan gallery store today .Staffs were very welcoming have to mention Allen's name who finally served us to the check out. Forgot the name of the lady who served us with the displayed product was helpful. Highly recommended.

Bought a watch from goldsmiths which stopped working 7 months later. Took it into the Buchanan Galleries shop where it was left to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection, as they were unable to check to see if it was just the battery needing changed. The communication since then has been literally non existent. I've had to call the store 3 times now to get an update. I did receive a mail on the 17th March informing me that my watch should be back in the store by the 31st March which hasn't been the case. Since I hadn't received an update from the shop by that date, I called on the 1st April to be told that they expected it back the following week. It's now Saturday 9th April and I've still not had any form of communication about the watch. It's now been away for almost 10 weeks after we were initially told it would be away for 6 weeks. Really poor service and not what I would expect from Goldmiths!

9:15am and I'm stood outside waiting for the shop to put it's shutters up. Says it opens at 9am looks like the staff are more interested in chatting amongst themselves. Every other shop is open
