I called Ely locksmiths recently when I found myself locked out of my house, luckily I had my phone on me so was able to call them. I was so pleased with how professional and kind they were, they told me it would take them 20 minutes to arrive and that I could wait at my neighbours house until they came. The engineer called me back 10 minutes later and told me he was 5 minutes away, just time to have a cup of coffee and get myself warm. When the man arrived, he didn't mess about, got his tools out and before I knew it my door was open again. They were very friendly, did everything they could to put me at ease and I would highly recommend them.

After my initial phone call, the locksmith was on my doorstep within the allotted time and after having a phone call from him to tell me that he was on his way. The locksmith appeared to know instantly what had happened to the door and he gave me a price. He went ahead with the work and showed me the broken control box. He then asked me to try the door and to make sure he was happy before he left. The gentleman was a highly experienced locksmith and was extremely polite and covid safe throughout. I also had my invoice and receipt emailed to me within seconds. A great locksmith and good value. I will definitely be keeping this number in my phone for any future emergencies.

Friendly service. Price questionable. In case you wish to compare to other locksmith quotes I was charged £192 for 30 minutes work fitting a front door lock gearbox that you can buy online for £30. Labour was £65+VAT, although tried to charge £75 +VAT when arrived at door. Part was £95+VAT.
