Tony was brilliantly helpful and knowledgeable both over the phone and in person. He talked me through removing a lock barrel so that I could take it to him in the shop where he was able to select a suitable replacement together with new offset door handles. He then flagged up a couple of important points to bear in mind when I was fitting them to the door. Both points were vital in being able to complete the installation myself instead of needing to call them out. He also happily trimmed a couple of bolts when it turned out they were too long for my door. I wouldn't have been able to complete the task without Tony's help and advice so I'm a very happy first time customer who will definitely return. Many thanks for the fantastic customer service.

When the entire inside of my front door lock came of in my hand I didn’t know where to start! Somehow both the screws holding it together had somehow disappeared into the unknown.When I went in for advice about a new lock the very kind gentleman talked me through how to remove the base plate as well and said if I took it all in he would find me 2 screws to fit.I removed it all and took it in, he found me 2 screws and made sure it all worked and then talked me through how to re fix it to the door, then just asked me to make a donation to the Rennie Grove charity box.Fantastic service, so nice to use a local trader. Dropped in a whole host of different keys to be copied for a Scout Hall - Tony done these within a couple of hours. I also gave him 2 keys for my 2004 F150, 1 for the doors & ignition (computer chip required), the other for the aftermarket pick up bed cover, again keys cut that afternoon. I had a couple of issues with the F150 keys but Tony sorted 1 straight away & came out (in the pouring rain) to look at the other. Turned out ignition couling was the issue but he ordered another key to over come this issue and had it cut and working within 48 hours. The price for all the keys was very reasonable. His knowledge & determination to sort the issue was exceptional. Great service and I highly recommend.

Front Door 25 year old 5 lever lock broken. Local DIY stores a waste of time. Called in to Alban LockSmiths on the Hatfield Road. Within ten minutes Tony had produced a replica lock and cut four extra keys. Tony has great communication skills and is extremely polite, courteous and professional. Furthermore, very good value for your money. Don't waste time scouting about! Go straight to Tony and he will 100% solve your issue.
